Scout Schulranzen

Healthy
back.

Scout schoolbags. With certificate of the independent German association "Aktion Gesunder Rücken".

The Campaign for Healthier Backs (AGR e. V.) was founded in 1995 to foster research to prevent the widespread condition of backache. The independent association examined – among other things – also schoolbags for its product guidebook. The result: all models from Scout are allowed to carry the AGR-certificate.

Stageless adjustment.

All Scout models dispose of the easy-to-handle, stageless adjustment of the length of the back that is requested by AGR. Thanks to this, the schoolbag can be vertically adjusted individually. The adjusting system does not create any additional pressure on the back of the child.

Scout back system fulfills all requirements of the "Aktion Gesunder Rücken" (Campaign for Healthier Backs).

  • Stable ergonomic contouring.
  • Back padding that spreads the main weight bilaterally equal along the spinal column.
  • Sturdy material to assure that the contents do not force through to the child’s back.
  • Breathable back padding for ventilation and reduction of development of heat.
  • Anti-slipping material with lateral elevation to ensure that the schoolbag is placed on the center of the back.

Other important factors for the Campaign for healthier backs.

  • Adjustable shoulder straps with additional straps for ideal positioning in the shoulder area allow to carry the schoolbag close to the back in a back-friendly way.
  • All Scouts have a division of compartments that makes sure that heavy things like books can be carried close to the back and thus in a back-friendly way.
  • All Scouts dispose of a comfortable carrying strap.
  • The empty weight of the Scout schoolbags and backpacks for school lies between approx. 1,100 and 1,200 g and thus below the 1,300 g that are recommended by AGR.
